For the Salmon Bites
  • 1 lb Salmon fillets Use fresh, high-quality salmon.
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil Can substitute with avocado oil.
  • to taste Salt Essential for seasoning.
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs For extra crunch.
  • 3 tbsp Bang Bang sauce Made from mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha.
  • 2 tbsp Green onions For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) to ensure even cooking.
  2. Cut the salmon fillets into bite-sized pieces, around one inch each.
  3. Mix olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
  4. Dip each salmon bite into the olive oil mixture, coating them completely, then coat in panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Place the salmon bites in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cooking
  1. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  2. Prepare the Bang Bang sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in a bowl.
Serving
  1. Serve the salmon bites with the Bang Bang sauce and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

For a lighter meal, grill the salmon instead of using the air fryer. You can also substitute salmon with tofu or cauliflower bites for a vegetarian version.
