  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup A homemade version can be used for a lighter option.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion Optional ingredient.
  • 1/2 cup milk

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the sliced kielbasa, cubed potatoes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Optionally include the onions.
  3. In another bowl, blend sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, and milk until smooth.
  4. Pour the creamy mixture over the kielbasa and potatoes, and stir gently to combine.
  5. Grease a baking dish and transfer the mixture into it. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Baking
  1. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  2. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly and golden.
  3. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For storage, place leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for about 3 months. Reheat in the oven covered with foil.
